Invitation-Only Faculty Workshop
August 29 – August 30, 2019
Texas A&M University School of Law
Fort Worth, Texas

The Environmental Law Schmooze is an invitation-only workshop focused on the intellectual engagement of environmental law scholars sponsored by the Program in Natural Resources Systems at Texas A&M University School of Law. This inaugural event affords environmental law scholars the opportunity to share unpublished works-in-progress or early-stage ideas with other leading environmental law scholars at Texas A&M University and beyond. This year, five external environmental law scholars from law schools across the country will join Texas A&M Law faculty at the EnviroSchmooze.

The focus of this inaugural EnviroSchmooze is on climate change, possibly the most dramatic and foreboding worldwide phenomenon in human history. Some of the country’s top legal scholars in this field will discuss their latest research and works-in-progress, and engage on this critical global issue in a format that facilitates meaningful learning, collaborative exchange and analytical development.
