Texas A&M Legal Clinics give you the opportunity to apply your skills to work on behalf of actual clients. Clinical work provides you hands-on experiences in a variety of practice areas, including family law, tax, intellectual property and business. Clinic clients include entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations, government entities and individuals.

Externships

Externships offer you the opportunity to gain practical legal experiences under the mentorship of practicing attorneys, judges and policy experts. You work outside of the classroom locally, nationally, in Austin or Washington D.C., or around the world, with government entities, public interest organizations and courts.

Simulations

Simulation courses, workshops and the Advocacy Program at Texas A&M School of Law offer you the opportunity to develop foundational skills such as negotiation, mediation, trial skills, appellate advocacy and drafting, in a controlled environment, including advocacy competitions, structured by experienced lawyers, judges and other advocates.
