Nicole Deutsch

Nicole Deutsch has always been passionate about helping students reach their potential. She had many years of experience teaching at public and charter schools before deciding to attend law school at Texas A&M. After graduating from law school, Nicole practiced family law and taught before joining A&M in 2020.

Law school is different than undergraduate education. What worked for you as an undergraduate might not work for you at law school. You have to be open to studying and learning in different ways.

I like working with students to help them learn how to write law school essays. It is a great moment when it clicks for a student, and the student can consistently craft a well-written essay. I also enjoy helping students prepare for the bar exam. Every student is different, and I enjoy talking to students and identifying their strengths and areas for improvement. It is very rewarding to support students as they prepare for the bar exam and to see them succeed and become attorneys.

I hope that students get insight into what studying for the bar exam will be like and that they learn what they need to do pass the bar exam.

Prior to working at the law school, I was an elementary school teacher. I also practiced family law.
