If we are unable to represent you, please refer to the list of attorney referral services at the bottom of this page.
Please Note: Acceptance as a client of one of the clinics is not guaranteed, and is ultimately based on availability of resources, absence of conflicts of interest, satisfying our income or operating budget requirements, and educational value for our students. Submitting a request does not establish an attorney-client relationship between Texas A&M Legal Clinics and the requestor. We will not begin doing any work on your behalf until we both decide you will become a clinic client, and an engagement letter has been signed. You have the right to continue to look for an attorney and decline any legal services we may offer.

You may qualify for free help from the attorneys and law students at the Tax Dispute Resolution Clinic with problems such as:
The Tax Dispute Resolution Clinic is funded in part by a grant from the Taxpayer Advocate Service, an independent office within the IRS. Congress established the Taxpayer Advocate Service as your voice at the IRS. It helps people resolve tax problems with the IRS and recommends changes that prevent problems. An important part of its work is supporting and working with low-income tax clinics like ours, throughout the country. Although our clinic is funded in part by the IRS, we are completely independent. You are our clients, and we do not share your information with the IRS other than as necessary to resolve your case.
