In her research, Monika Leszczyńska uses various empirical methods such as behavioral experiments, vignette studies, systematic content analysis, and computational methods to provide insights into contractual behavior.
Rapidly developing digital environments have expanded the number and type of transactions and changed the circumstances in which contracts are formed by heavily relying on the collection and processing of data. Monika studies how contract law interacts with individual contractual behavior in this new environment, focusing on how people approach the making of a contract and its performance.
