​Seventh Annual IP Scholars Roundtable

The Seventh Annual Texas A&M Intellectual Property Scholars Roundtable, hosted by Texas A&M University School of Law on November 3-4, 2023, hosted a platform for intellectual property and technology law scholars to convene, share research, and engage in peer networking. This interdisciplinary event not only featured presentations but also offered extended Q&A sessions and commentary from seasoned commentators. Open to both presenters and commentators, the roundtable aimed to foster an environment conducive to the exchange of ideas, research presentations, and the sharing of experiences, catering to both non-tenured and tenured professors.


A diverse array of scholars from various prestigious institutions worldwide were there to participate, including Prof. Danny Friedmann from Peking University School of Transnational Law (China), Prof. Barbara Lauriat from Texas Tech University School of Law, and Prof. Lee Jyh-An from the Faculty of Law at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, among others. With participants from different backgrounds and expertise areas, the event promised to be a rich forum for intellectual discourse, contributing significantly to the advancement of intellectual property scholarship and practice.
