Professor Sahar Aziz presented “Economic and Political Stability in Egyptto the Canadian Security Intelligence Services (Dec. 6, 2016).

Professor Saurabh Vishnubhakat was an invited speaker at the 2016 Patent Quality Conference: Advancing Patent Quality across the IP Community hosted at the United States Patent and Trademark Office and co-organized by Duke Law School and Santa Clara Law School. The slate of conference speakers included current and former USPTO and European Patent Office officials, judges from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and experts from industry and academia (Dec. 13, 2016).

Professor Peter Yu delivered the 20th ACIP Intellectual Property Forum lecture, "The RCEP and Trans-Pacific Copyright Norms," at the Intellectual Property School of South China University of Technology in Guangzhou, China (Dec. 20, 2016).

  • Gave a faculty talk on "The Pathways of Multinational Intellectual Property Dispute Settlement" at Peking University—School of Transnational Law in Shenzhen, China (Dec. 21, 2016).

  • Also provided a public lecture at Peking University on the new intellectual property norms that are being developed through the negotiation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (Dec. 21, 2016).

  • Delivered an opening presentation on "Thinking about the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement" at the Intellectual Property and Trade Conference at the University of Economics and Law of Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam (Dec. 7-8, 2016).

  • Spoke to the business law faculty on "Intellectual Property Developments and the Changing Business Culture in China" at Nanyang Business School in Singapore (Dec. 2, 2016).

  • Shared his view on the U.S. Trade Representative's "Notorious Markets List" with China Daily (Dec. 23, 2016).
