Daily Life in Tokyo

Window View
Life in Tokyo is definitely not the same as life in Texas. The best way I can describe Tokyo is how a good friend of my described it to me, “It is similar to New York but cleaner and more quiet.”

Lucky for me, I was able to experience the congested Tokyo trains during peak times, which made me realize how much I love my personal space. The streets were very clean and most importantly, the restrooms were always clean.

Another interesting thing I saw were vending machines throughout the streets. Most of the vending machines, unlike the vending machines in the United States, did not have sodas. They were mainly stocked with teas, coffee, and water.
