Former Mexican Ambassador to Give Keynote at NAFTA 2.0 Conference

Former Ambassador of Mexico to the United States, Gerónimo Gutiérrez Fernández, will serve as the keynote speaker at NAFTA 2.0: The Puzzle of North America as a Regionhosted by Texas A&M University School of Law Program in Global and Comparative Law in Fort Worth, Texas, February 28 – March 1. Ambassador Gutierrez Fernandez will join 24 other thought-leaders and experts from a range of disciplines representing three countries.

nafta 2.0 logoThe conference will consider the NAFTA 2.0 era, not only through the specific trade provisions of the USMCA, but also from the larger puzzle of North America as a region. Panelists will examine the North American puzzle in the context of emerging trends in international trade, shifts in geo-political and economic interests and the growing skepticism toward globalization and international dispute settlement.
