Strand Receives Scholarship Award in Natural Resources

rep-pp-17-strand-24042L Henrik Strand was awarded the Fall 2016 Buck J. Wynne Scholarship for receiving the highest grade in the Natural Resources Law and Policy course.

The State Bar of Texas Environmental and Natural Resources Law Section established a scholarship in honor of the late Buck J. Wynne for his contributions to environmental law and policy in the State of Texas. The $1000 scholarship is awarded to the student with the highest grade in an environmental law course.

In addition to outstanding course work, Strand also externed at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality in Austin, Texas, as part of the Texas A&M School of Law Residency Externship Program in Public Policy. Strand was also a Public Interest Law Fellow at the Municipality of Anchorage Department of Law Civil Division. Strand will serve as the Editor-in-Chief for the 2017-18 Texas A&M Law Review.
