Giving Opportunities

Texas A&M University Foundation and the law school work together to raise critical funds to support the law school’s comprehensive educational program. Here are the primary ways a donor can make a gift:

Endowments

Endowments are permanent funds that provided critical support for faculty, students and programs. A minimum gift of $25,000 can establish an endowment to create a scholarship, support faculty chairs, or help in the development of a particular program. These gifts are placed in a permanent fund and administered, for the Law School, by the Texas A&M Foundation. If you are interested in establishing an endowment, please contact Myke Holt, Sr. Director of Development, at 817-212-4061 or via email at mholt@txamfoundation.com.

Dean’s Excellence Fund

Donations to the Dean’s Excellence Fund are unrestricted gifts that support faculty research, student scholarships and community outreach initiatives. In the competitive environment of higher education, these funds give the Dean the flexibility to fill in the gaps where state funds do not meet the needs.

Memorial or Honorary Gifts

A gift in memory or honor of a relative, student, friend or professor is a thoughtful way to recognize a person's life and accomplishments. When you make an honorary or memorial gift to Texas A&M School of Law, the honoree or next of kin is notified, and will be used according to criteria that is meaningful to you.   If you wish to make an honorary or memorial gift, follow the instructions to make a gift online or send your gift to Myke Holt, Sr. Director of Development with a note specifying the honoree’s name and the name and address where the gift notification should be sent.
