Battles for Water Security in the Brazos River Basin: How Law and Regulation Shapes the Value of Water and Controls the Future of the Texas Economy

Learn how law and regulation shapes the value of water and controls the future of the Texas economy. Current battles for water security in the Brazos River Basin are being waged between Fortune 500 companies, cities, landowners, farmers, agencies, and investors—with litigation and deal-making as catalysts underlying each conflict.

Talk will focus on Mr. Miller’s private equity experience negotiating surface water and groundwater deals with various Fortune 500 companies and municipalities throughout the Brazos River Basin.

Mr. Miller will also offer advice and insight on finding attorney jobs and internships related to the natural resources field.
