ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND THE FUTURE OF WORK

Milan MarkovicPresented by Milan Markovic,
Professor of Law and Associate Dean for Assessment, Strategic Analysis, and Reporting; Co-Convener of the Program in Law and Social Science, Texas A&M University School of Law

The advent of artificial intelligence has provoked considerable speculation about the future of the American worker, including highly educated professionals such as lawyers and doctors. Although artificial intelligence is bound to create new employment opportunities, it is also likely to displace many workers in the short term. In this presentation, Professor Milan Markovic, an expert in professional regulation and ethics, will discuss the capabilities and limitations of artificial intelligence and identify the skills that will be in demand in the economy of the future. Come catch a glimpse of challenges and hopes for the future that will greatly impact business and legal professionals.

Continuing Legal Education credit (0.5 hours) will be offered for Texas attorneys who attend the event.
